Royal Hunters

Since the days of the Vikings, the gyrfalcon has been trained as a hunting bird, and is still kept for this purpose by affluent bird keepers, for example in the Middle East.
The other two majestic birds are of the same family, but live on two different continents: the great horned owl and the eurasian eagle owl. The great horned owl (yellow iris) is the biggest owl roaming North America, while it’s cousin rules the night sky in the untouched parts of Europe and Asia.
